Hebrew	ויאמר דויד כל־מכה יבוסי בראשונה יהיה לראש ולשר ויעל בראשונה יואב בן־צרויה ויהי לראש׃
Greek	και ειπεν δαυιδ πας τυπτων ιεβουσαιον εν πρωτοις και εσται εις αρχοντα και εις στρατηγον και ανεβη επ' αυτην εν πρωτοις ιωαβ υιος σαρουια και εγενετο εις
Latin	dixitque : Omnis qui percusserit Jebusæum in primis, erit princeps, et dux. Ascendit igitur primus Joab filius Sarviæ, et factus est princeps.
KJV	And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.
