Bob McKenna's 'Christian Canadian Sports Magazine' aspires to be a publication that highlights those athletes that exude strong moral and family values.For us this represents an opportunity to spread the Word of God through sports. Our business model is positioned to financially support the projects of Crossroads Global Core Group Missions to help those less fortunate around the world.
Bob began his publishing career in 1985 in Boston, Massachusetts. He founded a quality full colour glossy regional publication titled 'The Hockey Magazine' which he expanded from the U.S. to Canada in 2001. As a result of the National Hockey League lockout, ad agencies chose to discontinue ad spending to that demographic and the decision was made to suspend the publication. As he was readying to re-launch the title and continue 'The Hockey Magazine' Bob came up with the idea of creating an all around sports magazine for Canadians and with a Christian influence. 'The Hockey Magazine' was put on hold and 'Christian Canadian Sports Magazine' was born.
