Terms to List Yourself on WikiChristian

As a Christian media worker listed on WikiChristian:

1. You accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
   
2. You agree with our WikiChristian:Statement of Faith.
3. You promise to follow the WikiChristian:Guiding Principles for Media Workers.
4. You are known as a Christian in your community and your country.
   
5. You work or volunteer in a form of media that positively influences your community and your country.
   
6. You practice your media service and media ministry in a way that gives glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Registration Step One

Create your login as follows:
Username: use your FirstnameLastname
Password: (write this down in a safe place)

Open a new browser window to create your login here.

Registration Step Two

1. In your web browser, type your Firstname Lastname in the web address bar as follows:
http://www.wikichristian.org/index.php/Firstname_Lastname

2. Then press "Enter" or "return" on your keyboard.

Registration Step Three

On your new page, you will see the following sentence:

1. Click on edit this page.

2. Open a web new browser window for the template that best fits your location below:
(To open a new browser window: Windows computer users "right click and open a new window") (Macintosh computer users "Control key and Open link in New Window")

• Template:Media Workers in the United Kingdom
• Template:Media Workers in the United States of America

3. Copy and paste the text from the template you opened into your word processor. (MS Word, OpenOffice, WordPerfect etc.)

4. Do a find and replace command. Find Firstname Lastname and replace with YourFirstname YourLastname. (Control "F")

5. Copy and paste the revised text from your word processor into editing window of your page on WikiChristian.

6. At the bottom of your page on WikiChristian press the button called Save page.

Registration Step Four

Congratulations, your page is created and posted on WikiChristian!

1. You may now make edits to your page by clicking on the menu tab at the top of the page called Edit this page. You may also edit sections of your page by clicking on [edit] located to the right of any section on your page.

2. At the bottom of your page on WikiChristian click the button called Save page.

3. To post your photo go to the far left menu under toolbox and click on Upload file.

4. Click on the Browse button to search your computer harddrive for your photo.

5. In the Summary box add "Photo added by Firstname Lastname".

6. When your page is ready to be announced among our community of Christian media workers, please sign up for our free e-newsletter ChristianMediaWorkers on Yahoo! Groups.
