Hebrew	ויבא ארם דרמשק לעזור להדדעזר מלך צובה ויך דויד בארם עשרים־ושנים אלף איש׃
Greek	και ηλθεν συρος εκ δαμασκου βοηθησαι αδρααζαρ βασιλει σουβα και επαταξεν δαυιδ εν τω συρω εικοσι και δυο χιλιαδας
Latin	Supervenit autem et Syrus Damascenus, ut auxilium præberet Adarezer regi Soba : sed et hujus percussit David viginti duo millia virorum.
KJV	And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.
