Hebrew ויהי כשמע אחאב את־הדברים האלה ויקרע בגדיו וישם־שק על־בשרו ויצום וישכב בשק ויהלך אט׃ ס
Greek και υπερ του λογου ως κατενυγη αχααβ απο προσωπου του κυριου και επορευετο κλαιων και διερρηξεν τον χιτωνα αυτου και εζωσατο σακκον επι το σωμα αυτου και ενηστευσεν και περιεβαλετο σακκον εν τη ημερα η επαταξεν ναβουθαι τον
Latin Itaque cum audisset Achab sermones istos, scidit vestimenta sua, et operuit cilicio carnem suam, jejunavitque et dormivit in sacco, et ambulavit demisso capite.
KJV And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.
