Hebrew ויאמר שאול אתננה לו ותהי־לו למוקש ותהי־בו יד־פלשתים ויאמר שאול אל־דוד בשתים תתחתן בי היום׃
Greek και ειπεν σαουλ δωσω αυτην αυτω και εσται αυτω εις σκανδαλον και ην επι σαουλ χειρ
Latin Dixitque Saul : Dabo eam illi, ut fiat ei in scandalum, et sit super eum manus Philisthinorum. Dixitque Saul ad David : In duabus rebus gener meus eris hodie.
KJV And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.
