Hebrew כי־מות נמות וכמים הנגרים ארצה אשר לא יאספו ולא־ישא אלהים נפש וחשב מחשבות לבלתי ידח ממנו נדח׃
Greek οτι θανατω αποθανουμεθα και ωσπερ το υδωρ το καταφερομενον επι της γης ο ου συναχθησεται και λημψεται ο θεος ψυχην και λογιζομενος του εξωσαι απ' αυτου
Latin Omnes morimur, et quasi aquæ dilabimur in terram, quæ non revertuntur : nec vult Deus perire animam, sed retractat cogitans ne penitus pereat qui abjectus est.
KJV For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
