David said on that day, "Whoever strikes the Jebusites, let him get up to the watercourse, and strike the lame and the blind, who are hated by David's soul." Therefore they say, "The blind and the lame can't come into the house."

Hebrew ויאמר דוד ביום ההוא כל־מכה יבסי ויגע בצנור ואת־הפסחים ואת־העורים נפש דוד על־כן יאמרו עור ופסח לא יבוא אל־הבית׃
Greek και ειπεν δαυιδ τη ημερα εκεινη πας τυπτων ιεβουσαιον απτεσθω εν παραξιφιδι και τους χωλους και τους τυφλους και τους μισουντας την ψυχην δαυιδ δια τουτο ερουσιν τυφλοι και χωλοι ουκ εισελευσονται εις οικον
Latin Proposuerat enim David in die illa præmium, qui percussisset Jebusæum, et tetigisset domatum fistulas, et abstulisset cæcos et claudos odientes animam David. Idcirco dicitur in proverbio : Cæcus et claudus non intrabunt in templum.
KJV And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the Jebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David's soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
