Hebrew ויצו להעמיד את המרכבה וירדו שניהם אל תוך המים פילפוס והסריס ויטבל אותו׃
Greek και εκελευσεν στηναι το αρμα και κατεβησαν αμφοτεροι εις το υδωρ ο τε φιλιππος και ο ευνουχος και εβαπτισεν αυτον
Latin Et jussit stare currum : et descenderunt uterque in aquam, Philippus et eunuchus, et baptizavit eum.
