then I saw all the work of God, that man can't find out the work that is done under the sun, because however much a man labors to seek it out, yet he won't find it. Yes even though a wise man thinks he can comprehend it, he won't be able to find it.

Hebrew וראיתי את־כל־מעשה האלהים כי לא יוכל האדם למצוא את־המעשה אשר נעשה תחת־השמש בשל אשר יעמל האדם לבקש ולא ימצא וגם אם־יאמר החכם לדעת לא יוכל למצא׃
Greek και ειδον συν παντα τα ποιηματα του θεου οτι ου δυνησεται ανθρωπος του ευρειν συν το ποιημα το πεποιημενον υπο τον ηλιον οσα αν μοχθηση ο ανθρωπος του ζητησαι και ουχ ευρησει και γε οσα αν ειπη ο σοφος του γνωναι ου δυνησεται του
Latin Et intellexi quod omnium operum Dei nullam possit homo invenire rationem eorum quæ fiunt sub sole ; et quanto plus laboraverit ad quærendum, tanto minus inveniat : etiam si dixerit sapiens se nosse, non poterit reperire.
KJV Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
