Hebrew באדין ענה דניאל ואמר קדם מלכא מתנתך לך להוין ונבזביתך לאחרן הב ברם כתבא אקרא למלכא ופשרא אהודענה׃
Greek τοτε δανιηλ εστη κατεναντι της γραφης και ανεγνω και ουτως απεκριθη τω βασιλει αυτη η γραφη ηριθμηται κατελογισθη εξηρται και εστη η γραψασα χειρ και αυτη η συγκρισις
Latin Ad quæ respondens Daniel, ait coram rege : Munera tua sint tibi, et dona domus tuæ alteri da : scripturam autem legam tibi, rex, et interpretationem ejus ostendam tibi.
KJV Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
