Hebrew אדין מלכא כדי מלתא שמע שגיא באש עלוהי ועל דניאל שם בל לשיזבותה ועד מעלי שמשא הוא משתדר להצלותה׃
Greek και λυπουμενος ο βασιλευς ειπεν ριφηναι τον δανιηλ εις τον λακκον των λεοντων κατα τον ορισμον ον εστησε κατ' αυτου τοτε ο βασιλευς σφοδρα ελυπηθη επι τω δανιηλ και εβοηθει του εξελεσθαι αυτον εως δυσμων ηλιου απο των χειρων των
Latin Quod verbum cum audisset rex, satis contristatus est : et pro Daniele posuit cor ut liberaret eum, et usque ad occasum solis laborabat ut erueret illum.
KJV Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.
