Hebrew כען מלכא תקים אסרא ותרשם כתבא די לא להשניה כדת־מדי ופרס די־לא תעדא׃
Greek και ηξιωσαν τον βασιλεα ινα στηση τον ορισμον και μη αλλοιωση αυτον διοτι ηδεισαν οτι δανιηλ προσευχεται και δειται τρις της ημερας ινα ηττηθη δια του βασιλεως και ριφη εις τον λακκον των
Latin Nunc itaque rex, confirma sententiam, et scribe decretum : ut non immutetur quod statutum est a Medis et Persis, nec prævaricari cuiquam liceat.
