The maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness from him. He quickly gave her cosmetics and her portions of food, and the seven choice maidens who were to be given her out of the king's house. He moved her and her maidens to the best place in the women's house.

Hebrew ותיטב הנערה בעיניו ותשא חסד לפניו ויבהל את־תמרוקיה ואת־מנותה לתת לה ואת שבע הנערות הראיות לתת־לה מבית המלך וישנה ואת־נערותיה לטוב בית הנשים׃
Greek και ηρεσεν αυτω το κορασιον και ευρεν χαριν ενωπιον αυτου και εσπευσεν αυτη δουναι το σμηγμα και την μεριδα και τα επτα κορασια τα αποδεδειγμενα αυτη εκ βασιλικου και εχρησατο αυτη καλως και ταις αβραις αυτης εν τω
Latin Quæ placuit ei, et invenit gratiam in conspectu illius. Et præcepit eunucho, ut acceleraret mundum muliebrem, et traderet ei partes suas, et septem puellas speciosissimas de domo regis, et tam ipsam, quam pedissequas ejus ornaret atque excoleret.
KJV And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king's house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
