Hebrew על כן בעזב כעת ראשית דבר המשיח נעבר אל השלמות ולא נשוב לשית יסודי התשובה ממעשי מות והאמונה באלהים׃
Greek διο αφεντες τον της αρχης του χριστου λογον επι την τελειοτητα φερωμεθα μη παλιν θεμελιον καταβαλλομενοι μετανοιας απο νεκρων εργων και πιστεως επι θεον
Latin Quapropter intermittentes inchoationis Christi sermonem, ad perfectiora feramur, non rursum jacientes fundamentum pœnitentiæ ab operibus mortuis, et fidei ad Deum,
