For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Hebrew והיה כעץ שתול על־מים ועל־יובל ישלח שרשיו ולא כי־יבא חם והיה עלהו רעןן ובשנת בצרת לא ידאג ולא ימיש מעשות פרי׃
Greek και εσται ως ξυλον ευθηνουν παρ' υδατα και επι ικμαδα βαλει ριζας αυτου και ου φοβηθησεται οταν ελθη καυμα και εσται επ' αυτω στελεχη αλσωδη εν ενιαυτω αβροχιας ου φοβηθησεται και ου διαλειψει ποιων
Latin Et erit quasi lignum quod transplantatur super aquas, quod ad humorem mittit radices suas, et non timebit cum venerit æstus : et erit folium ejus viride, et in tempore siccitatis non erit sollicitum, nec aliquando desinet facere fructum.
