Hebrew הדבר אשר דבר ירמיהו הנביא אל־ברוך בן־נריה בכתבו את־הדברים האלה על־ספר מפי ירמיהו בשנה הרבעית ליהויקים בן־יאשיהו מלך יהודה לאמר׃ ס
Greek ο λογος ον ελαλησεν ιερεμιας ο προφητης προς βαρουχ υιον νηριου οτε εγραφεν τους λογους τουτους εν τω βιβλιω απο στοματος ιερεμιου εν τω ενιαυτω τω τεταρτω τω ιωακιμ υιω ιωσια βασιλεως
Latin Verbum quod locutus est Jeremias propheta ad Baruch filium Neriæ, cum scripsisset verba hæc in libro ex ore Jeremiæ, anno quarto Joakim filii Josiæ regis Juda, dicens :
