Hebrew ישבו לארץ ידמו זקני בת־ציון העלו עפר על־ראשם חגרו שקים הורידו לארץ ראשן בתולת ירושלם׃ ס
Greek εκαθισαν εις την γην εσιωπησαν πρεσβυτεροι θυγατρος σιων ανεβιβασαν χουν επι την κεφαλην αυτων περιεζωσαντο σακκους κατηγαγον εις γην αρχηγους παρθενους εν
Latin JOD. Sederunt in terra, conticuerunt senes filiæ Sion ; consperserunt cinere capita sua, accincti sunt ciliciis : abjecerunt in terram capita sua virgines Jerusalem.
