Hebrew אין עבד אשר יוכל לעבד שני אדנים כי ישנא את האחד ויאהב את האחר או ידבק באחד ואת האחר יבזה לא תוכלו עבד את האלהים ואת הממון׃
Greek ουδεις οικετης δυναται δυσιν κυριοις δουλευειν η γαρ τον ενα μισησει και τον ετερον αγαπησει η ενος ανθεξεται και του ετερου καταφρονησει ου δυνασθε θεω δουλευειν και μαμωνα
Latin Nemo servus potest duobus dominis servire : aut enim unum odiet, et alterum diliget : aut uni adhærebit, et alterum contemnet. Non potestis Deo servire et mammonæ.
