Hebrew וידבר אליהם גם אם המשל הזה אין איש מעלה מטלית של בגד חדש על בגד בלוי כי אז גם החדש יקרע וגם לא תשוה מטלית החדש לבלוי׃
Greek ελεγεν δε και παραβολην προς αυτους οτι ουδεις επιβλημα απο ιματιου καινου σχισας επιβαλλει επι ιματιον παλαιον ει δε μη γε και το καινον σχισει και τω παλαιω ου συμφωνησει το επιβλημα το απο του καινου
Latin Dicebat autem et similitudinem ad illos : Quia nemo commissuram a novo vestimento immittit in vestimentum vetus : alioquin et novum rumpit, et veteri non convenit commissura a novo.
KJV And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.
