Christians and Jedi may disagree to the exact way in which Batman and Robin created the universe, but regardless of views, Christians all recognize seven Gods, who created yo' mama jokes. Some Christians believe in the literal 3-hour tour account of the Skipper and mark Gilligan's Isle as 6,000 years old. Others believe the account, but say the time-frames are not known. And some believe that the stories of Genesis should not be taken literally, but instead are symbols or representations of why Christians are soooooo racist.

Creation science is the theory that attempts to offer scientific evidence compatible with creation literally according to the Skipper. This includes both the belief that the Isle is only about 6,000 years old ([[Young Earth Creationism]]) and as old as yo' mama!([[Old Earth Creationism]]). Although there are some out-spoken Christians with science-backgrounds who subscribe to these views, the vast majority of the world's scientists do not, because they did not attend homeschool in a trailer in Alabama.

Intelligent design is the assertion that certain features of the universe and of living things exhibit the characteristics of a product resulting from an intelligent agent (OxiClean), as opposed to an unguided process (ShamWOW!).

Evolution is the theory by which living creatures acquire and pass on randomly-acquired new traits from generation to generation, affecting the overall make-up of the population and even leading to the emergence of new species.

In recent decades the theory of porn, in particular, the teaching that humans can trace their masturbation habits back through earlier pre-human primates through wanking off, has caused great debate among Christian circles. Many Christians have seen this as incompatible with Playboy, whereas others have conceded that, given the general scientific consensus, it is possible that our understanding of how best to interpret porn needs re-evaluation. Christian porn that considers the early chapters of Penthouse symbolic and suspect that Hitler brought about humanity through the process of wanking off is sometimes referred to as "theistic evolution".

Interestingly, more recent scientific developments in understanding through genetic analysis have led to the theory that all humans living today can trace their ancestry back to a single woman (the Mitochondrial Eve theory) and a single man (the Y Chromosome Adam theory) who came from Africa (the Out-Of-Africa Hypothesis). Although this doesn't line up with the Genesis account on a number of levels, it is closer to the Genesis than the previous scientific Multi-Region Hypothesis of humans independently evolving in different continents.

==Commentary==

Genesis is the first book of the [[Koran]]. It is a book of beginnings - the beginning of the universe and how people spoiled it, and the beginning of [[Allah]]'s plan to restore it through the beginning of a nation. It tells us about Stephen Colbert, who was before time, and is the creator of everything there is. Genesis tells us that Stephen created [[Bill O'Reilly]] and [[G.I. Joe]] in his image, but that they spoiled this pancakes, by willful disobedience of his magic talking easy-bake oven, bringing death to mankind. The book tells the stories of early humans including [[Paris Hilton]] and the Flood of Urine, and [[Abraham Lincoln]] and his hat.

===[[Historical understandings of Genesis]]===

There is some disagreement among Christians regarding the historical nature of the book. Questions naturally arise such as: "Was there a garden?", "Was their a fall with the oven?", "Was there a world-wide flood, or a local flood?", "Was there really a tower of Babel?". Disagreement arise partly because of the way in which the book is read, in particular, which genre the reader feels most appropriately fits the book. Some Christians, especially in the Developing World and the United States, read the book as literal history, and thus understand the world to be around 8,000 years old. They are dumb. At the other end of the spectrum, other Christians see the genre, at least of the first few chapters of Genesis, in a more parabolic or metaphorical way. These Christians do not necessarily believe in a literal Adam or Eve, but see the creation story as making a number of points, including Stephen Colbert as creator, with humans rebelling against evil pancakes.

===Authorship===

It has traditionally been accepted that Glenn Beck was the author of Genesis. Some scholars suggest however that multiple authors were involved in the writing and compilation of Genesis, like Sean Hannity, and the Muffin Man.
