Project 86 is a Christian Hardcore,Rap Metal, Hard Rock band from Orange County, California consisting of Andrew "Macabre" Schwab (vocals), Randy "Randeath" Torres (guitar), Stephen "Dail" Dail (bass), and Alex "The Hatchet" Albert (drums).

Biography
In 1998, Project 86 released its self-titled debut on BEC Recordings, a sublabel of Tooth & Nail Records. Immediately the band was labeled "rapcore". Though Schwab's vocals could barely be called rapping, it was a convenient label due to the popularity of that genre of music at the time. After putting out their second album Drawing Black Lines (2000), the band was taken on by Atlantic Records. However, the promised re-release of Drawing Black Lines went from being a full-fledged reissue with new artwork and three new songs to nothing more than a bare bones repackaging of the exact same album.

At the outset of its career, Project 86 shared the stage with P.O.D. and Blindside on the Warriors Tour. Project (as the band is often referred to by its fans) has played mainstage at both Christian and secular festivals, and has shared the stage with other well known bands such as Queensrÿche, Linkin Park, Dead Poetic, and Stavesacre.

The next two years saw Project 86's addition of a second guitarist (Cory Edelman, formerly of No Innocent Victim) and his subsequent departure just a few months later. Also, influential rocker Marilyn Manson took interest in the band and had the song "P.S.", originally released on Drawing Black Lines, added to the Blair Witch 2 soundtrack. Probably due to this interest, Project 86 became a higher priority for Atlantic. Atlantic poured over half a million into Project's next musical foray, entitled Truthless Heroes (2002), which, though proving to be the band's most popular outing yet, was released amidst some turmoil.

Over the course of recording Truthless Heroes (which took around a year to complete) Project 86 had increasing difficulty with its management, as well as both record labels (Tooth & Nail still had rights to release their music to the Christian market). This wore the band down immensely, but by the time the album was finished, the difficulty seemed to have worked out in Project's favor - Atlantic bought all of Tooth & Nail's remaining rights to the band and released "Hollow Again", the first single from the album, on mainstream radio. Word came out that the band would be shooting a video for the song shortly, but it never materialized as Atlantic ran into troubles of its own and liquidated some of its assets - including Project 86. In 2003, finding themselves cut loose by both label and management, Project started its own independent label.

Project 86's fourth album, Songs To Burn Your Bridges By, was released independently in the fall of 2003 and went on to sell relatively well despite being sold only at shows and online. Come 2004, they re-signed to Tooth & Nail and Songs To Burn Your Bridges By was re-issued with three new songs and completely new artwork.

In February 2005, Project 86 announced that they were working on a new album. The title was later announced as ...And The Rest Will Follow. The band spent several weeks in the studio with Garth Richardson over the summer recording the material, and then began releasing a new song every Monday on their purevolume site. The album was released on September 27, 2005, and sold 8,000 copies in its first week, more than any other Project 86 album. A release tour began September 23, with Spoken, Number One Gun, Mourning September, and The Fold.

On January 6, 2006, Project 86 appeared live on G4's Attack of the Show!, performing "My Will Be A Dead Man" and "The Spy Hunter". This was the band's first appearance on mainstream cable television.

On August 14, 2006, notice was posted on the band's website that writing had begun on a new album, slated for release sometime early in 2007.

On December 17, 2006, The band released remixes of "Something We Can't Be" and "From December" on their Myspace page. "From December" features Joseph Milligan from Anberlin on guitar and Timothy McTague from UnderOath on drums. "Something We Can't Be" was remixed by The Echoing Green.

On November 18, 2006, at a one-off show at Club 3 Degrees in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the band filmed some live footage for a new DVD that is scheduled to come out around the time of their next album. They also said that they may play a CD release show at 3 Degrees, stating that it would be in May or June of 2007.

On January 27, 2007, the band released the release date for their yet to be titled album for June 5, 2007.
Aaron Gillespie is part of a Metalcore Underoath band, and a Emo side Project Band The Almost. Gillespie, a member of the band Underoath since its inception, previously has said that he is a Christian. Although Aaron is a christian. Many people quitsion his faith by how is band Underoath has uesd God's name invine in some song, and why his he heavily tattood , and why does he so time ues cures word in interviews, but all in all now ones perfect.

Childhood
Gillespie was born in Clearwater, Florida. He grew up in a devout Christian family. He attended public schools though and was a member of the church in his youth. Gillespie's parents divorced when he was 18. As a young boy his family was very poor. Aaron's Father traded a sprinkler system installation (his current job) for Aaron's first drum kit at the age of 4 years old. Aaron's father also had to make Aaron's first cymbals out of bent sheet metal.

Musical career
His mother has an interest in music, and he was around it his "whole life". When Gillespie was 14, he was asked to join his current band, Underoath, after former guitarist Luke Morton's father witnessed Gillespie play the drums in church. In 2002 when The Changing of Times was released, Aaron started to occasianal harmonic vocals in Underoath. When Dallas left,Underoath went through a lot of changes in their style, and by 2004, when They're Only Chasing Safety was released, Aaron Started full-time singing Harmonic Vocals and playing the drums at the same time showing Aarons amazing musical abiltity and co-ordination. Aaron is the only member to feature on every Underoath recording to date.

Underoath's 2004 release They're Only Chasing Safety was, for the most part, written about Gillespie's end of a four year relationship. He told Alternative Press, "I think I would've died if we didn't write those songs. I thought I had ruined someone's life. It's hard to explain, but you can't just pretend that things are great and go on and get married."

Gillespie is also actively pursuing a Emo side project called The Almost, in which he played all of the instruments, excluding bass in some songs.

Define the Great Line was certified Gold by the RIAA on November 11, 2006, representing 500,000 shipped units of the album. It is the second album in Tooth & Nail history to reach that distinction (The first being Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo by MxPx in 2000).

The Almost's debut album Southern Weather hit the U.S. Billboard charts at 39 with 29,000 copies sold. As of July 11, 2007, the album has sold 123,972 copies in the US.[2]

Marriage
Aaron married his wife Jamie Anne Robertson on November 25, 2006. All of the members of Underoath were the groomesmen at the wedding. The two now live in a house in Salt Lake City however Aaron doesn't spend much time there due to the demanding tour life.

Hawk Nelson is a punk band hailing from Peterborough, Ontario. The band has become popular on the Christian music scene and also The Secular rock scene, and was voted "Favorite New Artist" by CCM Magazine in their February 2006 Reader's Choice Awards.

The band played independently in Ontario for a few years before they signed with Tooth & Nail Records, largely on the recommendation of Trevor McNevan, the lead singer of fellow Tooth & Nail band Thousand Foot Krutch. McNevan, also from Peterborough, is credited with discovering the band. In July of 2004, Hawk Nelson released their major label debut Letters to the President. It was produced by Aaron Sprinkle and McNevan, who also co-wrote nine of the album's fourteen songs. They won GMA Canada Covenant Award [1] for Modern Rock/Alternative Album of the Year in 2006.

The band has achieved some success in the mainstream as well. They portrayed The Who on an episode of the NBC drama American Dreams, and they recorded a song named "Bring 'Em Out" for the 2005 motion picture Yours, Mine, and Ours. "Things We Go Through" from Letters to the President was also featured in Yours, Mine, and Ours.

Aaron Gillespie is part of a Metalcore Underoath band, and a Emo side Project Band The Almost. Gillespie, a member of the band Underoath since its inception, previously has said that he is a Christian. Although Aaron is a christian. The current time in his life he is strugling with his faith.
