The Navarre Bible Commentary Series is a Roman Catholic series of commentaries for the whole [[Bible]]. They are based on the RSV [[Catholic]] Edition version of Scripture. The series was produced by the Theology faculty of Navarra University in Spain. The commentaries are drawn from the writings of early [[Christian authors]], Eastern and Western fathers of the Church, [[Vatican II]] and the [[Catechism of the Catholic Church]], and prominent contemporary spiritual writers including Josemaría Escrivá. The commentaries are designed not only to explain Biblical texts but also to discuss application to daily life.
