The Fall of Man (or simply The Fall) refers to humanity's fall from a state of innocence to a state of sin and judgement. The cause of this Fall was disobedience to God and the result of it was that mankind could no longer remain in God's beautiful Garden of Eden, or walk in the sight of God. Genesis 3 gives the account of the Fall of humanity. Genesis 3 tells us that sin and death entered the world because Adam and Eve disobeyed God's commandment not to eat of the "tree of knowledge of good and evil." (Read more) |
