The movement was officially birthed in 1930 when theologian, [[Benjamin Wilkinson]] wrote [[Our Authorized Bible Vindicated]]. While it may have existed before 1930, it was popularized when Wilkinson published his book promoting the view that all translations after the KJV to be "corruptedare corrupt." The movement has gained more traction since the 1930s and today, the KJV remains the most popular English translation.
