In the The [[Old Testament]], is composed of 98.84% of it is composed of Hebrew and 1.16% of it the Old Testament is composed of Aramaic. The [[New Testament]] on the other hand, is composed completely of Koine Greek.

The Bible was originally composed in 3 different languages. [[Biblical Hebrew]] (73.6% of the entire Bible), [[Koine Greek]] (25.6% of the entire Bible), and [[Aramaic]] (less than 1% of the entire Bible).
Aramaic, while ironically the least used language in the Bible, was the most common language among the Jews in Northern Palestine during the time [[Jesus Christ]] walked the earth. Only 3 books of the Old Testament use Aramaic in its original script. Those books being [[Book of Daniel|Daniel]] (which is the only book to be majority Aramaic), [[Book of Ezra|Ezra]], and [[Book of Jeremiah|Jeremiah]] [[Bible:Jeremiah 10:11|10:11]] is the only verse in that book to be composed of Aramaic.
