Summary
==Summary==
God's Word to Women by [[Katherine Bushnell]] is an exegesis of every reference to women in the Bible by which Bushnell concludes that women are equal to men and may be called by God for teaching just as men. Many biblical passages are retranslated with bias to either sex, drawing extensively from how words were used elsewhere in the Bible, ancient writings, and translated in ancient writings. Written in the 1910s, many find the book's style slow to read and should therefore be examined with patience.
Many regard the work as the most insightful single book on biblical gender roles. Standing the test of time, it is a must for modern egalitarian writers. While disproving traditional views, God's Word to Women places the Bible as supreme authority and centers on Christ.
