====Roman Catholicism====
Roman Catholics have a literal view of Holy Communion. They typically call Holy Communion "the Eucharist". Roman Catholics believe in a form of theology called transubstantiation. This basically means that they believe that when the priest consecrates the Eucharist, the host and wine literally become Jesus' body, blood, soul, and divinity.
