The Jerusalem Declaration is a statement released by a large wing within the [[Anglican]] church released in June 2008 affirming a number of orthodox beliefs, including that sexual relationships are only right if they occur between a man and a woman within a marriage. The declaration was made at the end of a conference called by conservative and evangelic Anglican leaders to counteract the growth of liberalism within the Anlgican church, especially the acceptance of homosexual clergy and bishops in the Episcopalian Church of the United States.
