Hebrew וישלח דוד וידרש לאשה ויאמר הלוא־זאת בת־שבע בת־אליעם אשת אוריה החתי׃
Greek και απεστειλεν δαυιδ και εζητησεν την γυναικα και ειπεν ουχι αυτη βηρσαβεε θυγατηρ ελιαβ γυνη ουριου του
Latin Misit ergo rex, et requisivit quæ esset mulier. Nuntiatumque est ei quod ipsa esset Bethsabee filia Eliam, uxor Uriæ Hethæi.
