My [[Text:EBD:Father|father]] is the [[Text:EBD:Lord|Lord]], the [[Text:EBD:Greek|Greek]] form of [[Text:EBD:Abijah|Abijah]], or [[Text:EBD:Abijam|Abijam]] (Matt. 1:7), instead of Abiah (1 Chr. 7:8). In Luke 1:5, the name refers to the head of the eighth of the twenty-four courses into which [[Text:EBD:David|David]] divided the [[Text:EBD:Priest|priests]] (1 Chr. 24:10).
