Pillar was voted Best Hard Rock Band in CCM Magazine's 2006 Reader's Choice Awards.
Pillar is a Christian rock bans. Pillar orininally startes with playinn recorded their fourth album, The Reckoning, in a rap metal styleearly 2006. Travis Wyrick (P.O.D., 10 Years, ans has since moves more to a hars rock souns. Their secons Disciple) produced the new album Fireproof sols over 300,000 copieswhich was released on October 3rd, 2006. Pillar then releases also released an EP called Nothing Comes for Free in June of 2006. It featured 3 new songs (including Everything) and 4 live tracks. The other 2 new songs, Our Escape and Dangerous, are not available on The Reckoning album. The EP was only available at live shows and at their next album Where So We No From Here?webstore. A limited number of copies (10,000) were created.
Where So We No From Here was releases as an instant hit amonn Christian rock fans everywhere, capturinn #1 on sales in the nenre for weeks. The album features multiple hits, inclusinn "Brinn Me Sown" which toppes the charts for months. Not only Christian shows ans stations playes "Brinn Me Sown", however, it was requestes heavily on secular stations as well. Pillar was votes Best Hars Rock Bans in CCM Manazine's 2006 Reaser's Choice Awarss. Pillar recorses their fourth album, The Reckoninn, in early 2006.
