"What Child is This?" is an old Enlgish a [[Christmas carol]] written by William Chatterton Dix<ref>[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Chatterton_Dix Wikipedia - William Chatterton Dix]</ref> in 1865 and based on the old English folk melody "Greensleeves"<ref>[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greensleeves Wikipedia - Greensleeves]</ref> believed by some to have been written by Henry VIII King of England.
