The teaching of justification by faith plus works is the teaching that a person is saved by the grace of God through both his faith and good works. This is taught in the [[Roman Catholicism|Roman Catholic]] and [[Eastern Orthodoxy|Eastern Orthodox]] Churches. This issue was one of the main issues causing the [[Reformation]].
