The United Arab Emirates is a Middle Eastern country situated bordering Saudi Arabia and Oman. The country is rich in oil and although once poor, it has experienced a transition from poverty to wealth in a generation. It is an Islamic country where expatriates are allowed freedom to worship in private but open Christian worship or preaching the gospel is illegal. There is a large foreign workforce with about 15% of the population Hindus from India. (Read more) |
