Wisconsin is a state in the Midwest of the United States. Industrialization began in the late 19th century in the southeast, with Milwaukee as the major center. In recent decades service industries, especially medicine and education, have become dominant. 85% of the population are Christians, two-thirds of thse Protestant. Lutherans account for 23% of the population. Roman Catholics account for 29% of the population. 14% are non-religious. (Read more) |
