Documentation
Talk pages of templates are unique because they include regular "Discussion" as well as official documentation for the template itself. For this reason, {{Doctl}}
sets up level-one headers (=Documentation= and =Discussion=) in order to allow a logical use of the "+" tab at the top of the page. Ideally, all template talk pages should use the doctl template.
Usage
{{Doctl}}
does not have any parameters. It should be the first thing added to an empty template talk page using substitution, i.e. {{subst:doctl}}
. Everything in the Documentation section should then be filled out.
Example
This talk page is an example of how it works.
Use the talk page of the Wikichristian:Sandbox to check the unedited output of {{subst:doctl}}
.
