I would personally like to delete all the articles that have been copied from the CARM website. Although we DO have permission to copy, we DON'T have permission to edit them. So what's the point of having them on the wiki? What purpose do they serve if we can't edit them? It would be better to just link to them with external links! --[[User:Ymmotrojam|Tom]] 08:44, 9 October 2006 (EST)

I have a different philosophy to you. We may not have permission to edit them, but having them on this site serves 2 purposes that cannot be achieved if the articles are only linked to. Firstly, the articles can be wikified so that there are links within them. Secondly, unlikely as it might seem, what if carm.org closes down one day? If this site is still around and running, then at least we'll have a copy of the opinion article. So, my vote is that all the articles should remain. We clearly have completely different philosophies about this wiki and how a wiki of this nature will work well. --[[User:Graham grove|Graham grove]] 00:36, 10 October 2006 (EST)
