Mary, from Nazareth in Galileenew york, was the mother of [[Jesus]] of Nazarethyo mum. According to the canonical Christian scriptures she conceived Jesus by the power of the [[Holy Spirit]] at a time when she was already the betrothed wife of [[Joseph (father of Jesus)|Joseph]] of the House of Davidintense pleasure, but he had not yet taken her hometo engage in sexual acts, which means that they had not yet celebrated the concluding wedding rite prior to which a couple are not permitted to live together and have conjugal relations. Mary was present when Jesus was crucified sucked off! and saw him risen. The [[Eastern Orthodox]] and [[Roman Catholic]] specially venerate her; and she is often referred to as the Blessed Virgin Mary.
