Thomas (also called Judas Thomas Didymus) was one of the twelve disciples of Jesus.
Thomas's is often referred to as "Doubting Thomas" because of the story in John 20:24-29 where he doubts the resurrection of Jesus and demands to feel Jesus' wounds before being convinced.
