How do you know you are saved? Or do you think such assurance is unwarranted? --Aquatiki 07:42, 4 August 2008 (PDT)
:Well, the way I act, the way I care for one another, and how I love each and every one another, somehow lets me know that I was saved from sin and that my sins have been forgiven. I'm not perfect, but I do know Jesus died for me, and all of us, as we all are loving Christians. I hope that's enough information. -- Ryan†Cross (talk) 16:53, 4 August 2008 (PDT)

:: I hope you don't think we are prying. My purpose in asking you these questions is to get to know you as a brother in Christ, not to have you pass some test or to find out sordid details about you. All of us need to grow in Christ and depend on Him more and more. I'm certainly not pretending I've "arrived" or something. I think my question was intended to reveal to whom or what you attribute authority. That is, how can we know anything? What is the measure by which we decide what is true? ... I think I'd better post more information about myself too! --Aquatiki 17:05, 4 August 2008 (PDT)
