Carey grew up listening to His Dad sing: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Hymns on Sundays after Church.
At the age of 16, Carey worked most of His week-ends in Hotels and Wedding Halls: covering 50's, 60's, Punk, British, Country and Classic Rock'n'Blues Artists.
After ten years, He acquired live experience in front of small crowds. He eventually landed four Big Breaks.
The first of which he opened for an obscure Texas Band at Barrymores Ottawa;
