Synopsis
Andhra Pradesh is one of India's larger states and has a population of about 80 million. It lies in south-eastern India and its capital city is Hyderabad. 89% of its people are Hindu, 9% Muslim and only 2% Christian. It is the only state in India where the official percentage of Christians is in decline.
