Jesus wept.

The verb edakrusen in Greek signifying the silent shedding of tears occurs only once in the New Testament. The single instance here concerns the death of Lazarus and represents the shortest verse in the Bible, but no verse carries more meaning in it. (cf. Isaiah 53:3)
