Amen

Amen is often the word used at the end of a prayer. It is from a Hebrew word meaning something like "certainly" or "may it be so". The first Greek speaking Christians kept this Hebrew word as a response to prayer. Jesus used Amen as an opening affirmation of truth: "Amen I say to you..." (Read more)
