Carey , grew up listening to His Dad sing: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Hymns on Sundays after Church. At the age of 16, Carey worked most of His week-ends in Hotels , House Parties and Wedding Halls: covering 50's, 60's, Punk, British, Country and Rock 'n' Blues Artists. After ten years, He acquired live experience in front of small crowds. He eventually landed four Landed Four Big Breaks. The first First of which he opened for an obscure Obscure Texas Band at Barrymores Ottawa;

The second Second was , a Break out of Denial.

After fighting depressionDepression, anxiety Anxiety and bouts Bouts of Failure; He listened to His Mother, Who prayed someday He'd meet and emulate people Who could mentor positive changes in His life. So , He sold His truck Truck and gear Gear and called A.A. After agressivly attending many meetings, He was able to get back Back on to his His Feet. The Third Big Break happened one nightOne Night, in a Little Chapel, May 1990. While singing hymns Hymns with people Who really looked like they They knew Who they They were singing to.Five or six songs later he He found Himself; surrounded with an incredibly awesome peaceIncredibly Awesome Peace.
