Hebrew ותעלה המלחמה ביום ההוא והמלך היה מעמד במרכבה נכח ארם וימת בערב ויצק דם־המכה אל־חיק הרכב׃
Greek και ετροπωθη ο πολεμος εν τη ημερα εκεινη και ο βασιλευς ην εστηκως επι του αρματος εξ εναντιας συριας απο πρωι εως εσπερας και απεχυννε το αιμα εκ της πληγης εις τον κολπον του αρματος και απεθανεν εσπερας και εξεπορευετο το αιμα της τροπης εως του κολπου του
Latin Commissum est ergo prælium in die illa, et rex Israël stabat in curru suo contra Syros, et mortuus est vespere : fluebat autem sanguis plagæ in sinum currus,
KJV And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
