The men of David said to him, "Behold, the day of which Yahweh said to you, 'Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.'" Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe secretly.

Hebrew ויאמרו אנשי דוד אליו הנה היום אשר־אמר יהוה אליך הנה אנכי נתן את־ בידך ועשית לו כאשר יטב בעיניך ויקם דוד ויכרת את־כנף־המעיל אשר־לשאול בלט׃
Greek και ειπον οι ανδρες δαυιδ προς αυτον ιδου η ημερα αυτη ην ειπεν κυριος προς σε παραδουναι τον εχθρον σου εις τας χειρας σου και ποιησεις αυτω ως αγαθον εν οφθαλμοις σου και ανεστη δαυιδ και αφειλεν το πτερυγιον της διπλοιδος της σαουλ
Latin Et dixerunt servi David ad eum : Ecce dies, de qua locutus est Dominus ad te : Ego tradam tibi inimicum tuum, ut facias ei sicut placuerit in oculis tuis. Surrexit ergo David, et præcidit oram chlamydis Saul silenter.
KJV And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.
