Hebrew ויקצף עליו איש האלהים ויאמר להכות חמש או־שש פעמים אז הכית את־ארם עד־כלה ועתה שלש פעמים תכה את־ארם׃ ס
Greek και ελυπηθη επ' αυτω ο ανθρωπος του θεου και ειπεν ει επαταξας πεντακις η εξακις τοτε αν επαταξας την συριαν εως συντελειας και νυν τρις παταξεις την
Latin iratus est vir Dei contra eum, et ait : Si percussisses quinquies, aut sexies, sive septies, percussisses Syriam usque ad consumptionem : nunc autem tribus vicibus percuties eam.
KJV And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
