Hebrew ויחל יהואחז את־פני יהוה וישמע אליו יהוה כי ראה את־לחץ ישראל כי־לחץ אתם מלך ארם׃
Greek και εδεηθη ιωαχας του προσωπου κυριου και επηκουσεν αυτου κυριος οτι ειδεν την θλιψιν ισραηλ οτι εθλιψεν αυτους βασιλευς
Latin Deprecatus est autem Joachaz faciem Domini, et audivit eum Dominus : vidit enim angustiam Israël, quia attriverat eos rex Syriæ :
KJV And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.
